Gary’s fans know to look for a hallmark of Gary Patterson art; a little mouse named “Boo Mouse.” Around 1980, Gary noticed a little brown mouse that kept him company during his late evening hours in the art studio. Before long, he named the mouse Boo and began bringing him brown-bag meals of Twinkies and cheese. Soon, Boo Mouse started showing up in all his drawings, and now every illustration features the little mouse hidden somewhere in the artwork. At times, it’s easy to miss Boo lost among Gary’s detailed images filled with tiny bits of humor, but look hard and you’ll find him, making each piece even more special and collectible for fans of Gary Patterson art.
